ABU JAASK

(Baskeer ex SG Bint Jaseem)
DAHMAN OM AAMR

Out of our premier producing mare SG BINT JASEEM - Abu Jaask was one of those foals who just looked 'right' from day one. He never went through an off phase. As a yearling Jaask was shown at The National Stud Show - after injuring a hindleg in the transport on the way to the show. Lots of icepacks and cold water later - he made it into the ring and was awarded Second place in a very strong class. We were very pleased with his result.
At the East Coast Championships, under Her Royal Highness Princess Alia of Jordan, he was selected for the finals and ultimately became TOP 5 East Coast Champion Yearling Colt for that year. That was the year two colts who later went National Champion were in the top two placings - we felt he was in good company.

The following year he was again shown at the National Stud Show - and once again he was Second in his class. Again a very strong and large class. He didn't make the East Coast that year - and was instead sent out to be broken to saddle. His ability and tractability under saddle are exceptional and he is an excellent ride - possessing a smooth and elastic stride and that real 'rocking horse' canter. Frank Staunton broke him to saddle for us and bred two of Torryburn's premier broodmares to him. Resulting in their junior stud sire - TORRYBURN TAHL.

He also now has a nu,mber of well performed progeny exported for endurance competition in the UAE.

These days Jaask spends most of his time supervising the farm. Nothing moves on the property without him being aware of it. He is used for pleasure ridinng and the occasional endurance ride.  He is a different type to the majority of stock in the halter ring now - he is more an echo of the past. He is most typically an echo of the saddle horse strengths and qualities that was BOSTOCKS - and he is one of that league of Bostocks bloodline sires - and is as Pat Slater once described them - a HORSE OF FIRE.

Within the stud three lovely daughters have been retained to represent his strengths and lineage from three of our BOSTOCKS line mares:

SALINAS-SGA ex Torryburn Desert Sprite

FANTAISSANCE-SGA ex Bostocks Fantiselle.

HAMAASA-SGA ex Torryburn Halama

BAROMANOV

(Barabas* ex Shimmering Gold)
DAHMAN OM AAMR

Bred by the Sharman's of Jangharm Arabians - we purchased BAROMANOV to use as an outcross sire over our line bred BOSTOCKS mares. An exotic headed grey Baromanov is an elegant, good bodied horse with a lovely neck and a beautiful eye. He is truly a son of Barabas* in this regard - encompassing the strengths of his lovely sire. He possesses a good wither and a short strong back with excellent coupling. His depth of girth is very good and he has short cannons with good bone.

Sired by the imported pure Russian stallion BARABAS - and out of the RUSSIAN/DOMESTIC cross mare SHIMMERING GOLD - he possesses a strong combination of beauty and athletic ability. His gelded full brother has been shown to Reserve Australian National Champion gelding before being exported to the Middle East where he is now excelling in endurance.

The dam line of BAROMANOV is Jangharm's finest. His dam is the lovely chestnut mare Shimmering Gold who is sired by ESCALATE - a son of the imported Russian bred stallion VICTORY who combined the Russian breeding of his quality sire EK KASAKA  who was an Aswan grandson through the well performed PATRON. The dam of Victory - WM Mistique - combined outstanding Polish and Crabbet blood including the Bask son Tornado and the Raktha son Silver Drift.

Shimmering Gold is a daughter of the well known Hansan* daughter Haisumi
- a lovely mare and herself a daughter of one of the stud's premier mare lines - ROYAL MURRA. Royal Murra being a daughter of the imported stallion Royal Domino* and the mare Murra. Shimmering Gold has multiple crosses to the blood of Hanstead - having both RIKHAM and ROYAL DOMINO in her pedigree. For us it means Baromanov allows us to compound the blood of choice for outstanding action - while adding a significant outcross to our bloodlines through the Russian blood stallions Barabas and Victory-
For the stud Baromanov has sired two exceptional sons and a number of lovely daughters - two of which have been retained within the broodmare band.

BARBADOS-SGA

(Baromanov ex SG Bint Jaseem)
DAHMAN OM AAMR

A bold and upstanding colt combining the athletic qualities of both sides of his breeding and expressing the beautiful head and neck we were seeking in the next generation of our youngsters sired by Baromanov. BARBADOS-SGA has matured into a very exciting stallion.

His action expresses a long light free trot and his innate quality is already drawing attention. From a stylish and elegant youngster he has matured into a very classic 'old style' Arabian with a very short deep head with good jowl and broad forehead and fine muzzle. He has a lovely head set and a beautifully shaped neck with fine clean throat. A strong bodied individual with an excellent length of hindquarter he was broken to saddle but unfortunately never put into work due to my own injury. At halter he was a
n A Class Champion from his only show.

BARBADOS made an excellent impression on Elizabeth and Cath Staunton of Torryburn stud and he stood a season there covering several of their mares. One of those lovely daughters accompanying him home to SGA - the beautiful TORRYBURN GAHLIA.

SIR FANTOM-SGA (pending)

(Sir Real imp/exp USA x Fantaissonce-SGA)

KEHAILAN RODAN

First son and foal of our outstanding daughter of Abu Jaask - and a true son of his inspiring sire. Only a youngster at this stage but a very promising addition to the stud. He is tall, bold and bay - with a beautiful head and the lovely neck and outline of his sire and the substance - depth of body - and lovely movement of his lineage.
